Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse inventory and maintain accurate records in the inventory database.
• Coordinate and schedule the movement of products within the warehouse, including the storage and shipment of finished goods.
• Implement daily production and shipping plans, arranging for the proper storage of excess stock.
• Optimize the daily flow of finished products by adjusting storage space assignments as needed.
• Verify product availability for shipping by reviewing inventory records or conducting physical counts.
• Identify slow-moving products and, with managerial approval, coordinate their removal or redistribution.
• Direct forklift operators to efficiently store goods in designated warehouse areas.
• Perform manual handling tasks, including repacking and restacking pallets of finished goods when necessary.
• Operate forklifts as required to support warehouse operations.
• Accurately document all warehouse activities and complete required forms and reports.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts (certification is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.

Working Conditions:

• This position may involve extended periods of standing, lifting, and moving items.
• Work may take place in varying temperatures, depending on the warehouse environment.
