Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 settings. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders, helping them overcome challenges and succeed academically. Using a virtual platform, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and school teams to design and implement personalized therapy plans that support each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations: Assess students' communication abilities, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
Develop tailored therapy plans: Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on evaluation results and specific student goals.
Provide therapy services: Deliver remote speech therapy through individual and small group sessions, ensuring students receive the support they need.
Collaborate with school staff: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure that students' speech and language needs are being met both in the classroom and at home.
Monitor and adjust progress: Continuously track student progress, adjusting therapy plans and goals to ensure students are meeting milestones and experiencing ongoing success.
Maintain accurate documentation: Keep detailed, timely records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and IEP progress, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation is a must.
Experience with teletherapy or remote services is a plus, but not required.
