Surface Coating Installer

Progressive Roofing is hiring for a Surface Coating Installer Lead for our Phoenix, Arizona service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing traffic coatings (3-5 years). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while collaborating with a talented team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Install traffic coatings on various surfaces, including concrete and plywood, according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare surfaces for coating application by cleaning, repairing, and leveling as necessary.
• Apply primers, sealants, and coatings using appropriate techniques and equipment, ensuring uniform coverage and adherence.
• Perform quality inspections to verify coating thickness, adhesion, and finish quality, making adjustments as needed.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Ideal Requirements:

• Previous experience in traffic coating installation.
• Knowledge of materials, application techniques, and surface preparation methods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
