We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Medical Director, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance to join our rapidly expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative team that plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients worldwide. The successful candidate will be a key player in the detection, evaluation, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problems. This role requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in safety monitoring, safety signals, and drug safety.

Responsibilities:

As our Senior Medical Director, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and overseeing the company's drug safety and pharmacovigilance activities.
2. Developing and implementing strategies to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products.
3. Monitoring and identifying any safety signals and potential risks associated with our products.
4. Evaluating and interpreting data from ongoing and completed clinical trials.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop risk management plans.
6. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards related to drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
7. Providing medical expertise and guidance to the drug safety team.
8. Participating in the preparation and review of regulatory documents, safety reports, and other clinical documents.
9. Developing and maintaining relationships with health authorities and key opinion leaders in the field.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior Medical Director, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance position, you must have the following:

1. A medical degree from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance, including safety monitoring and safety signals.
3. Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.
4. Proven experience in the interpretation and evaluation of safety data.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information.
8. Ability to work cross-functionally and foster a collaborative environment.
9. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
