Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in providing high-quality teletherapy services to students. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students in a school setting, using a virtual platform. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and school teams to develop and implement personalized therapy plans that cater to each student's individual needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to assess students' communication development and identify areas that require support.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and student goals, ensuring each plan is tailored to meet the specific needs of the student.
Deliver virtual speech therapy services, providing both individual and small group therapy sessions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure that each student's speech and language needs are being effectively addressed.
Continuously monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure continued growth and success.
Keep detailed records of therapy sessions, including progress on IEP goals and any adjustments made during the course of treatment.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology in Minnesota.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Prior experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
Experience with teletherapy is a plus, as well as familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
Knowledge of the IEP process and how to integrate speech therapy into a student's overall educational plan is a strong advantage.
