Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile account balances and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Team Leadership: Guide and support junior accounting staff in their daily tasks.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.

Additional Duties:

Prepare documentation for external auditors.
Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CFO/Controller in running audits.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, excellent communication skills, tax and compliance skills major plus, experience with 3rd party vendors such as tax and audit providers
