SafeLease is an insurance technology company specializing in the self-storage industry. Our insurance and software products are used by thousands of properties nationally. We've built an efficient, high-growth organization by vertically integrating distribution, balance sheet risk, and claims adjusting. We're three years old, profitable, and intent on building the best insurance provider in storage. This hybrid role is based in our downtown Austin, Texas office.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the leadership team to evaluate business performance, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess the impact of new initiatives, growth strategies, and potential M&A opportunities.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to forecasts, identifying key drivers and providing actionable recommendations for course correction.
• Provide in-depth analysis of key business metrics, identifying trends and opportunities that inform financial strategy and help prioritize business initiatives.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate financial insights to the executive team and other key stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals, ensuring financial integrity and alignment across the business.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, financial analysis, private equity, or a related field, with a strong focus on financial modeling and business forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to build financial models that inform decision-making and drive strategic business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of financial metrics and performance indicators, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience conducting variance analysis and developing financial forecasts for fast-paced, high-growth companies.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives based on their financial impact and business potential.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
