Payroll Coordinator – Lewisville, TX

The Payroll Coordinator will coordinate payroll processes and perform tasks to ensure that personnel are paid accurately and in a timely manner. This position handles all payroll matters for the entire company.

Responsibilities: 

  • Accurate processing of all payroll and payroll functions including bi-weekly payroll, bonuses and special runs.
  • Maintain payroll backup in a neat, organized manner.
  • Prepare and process all required manual checks, voids & ACH reversals and handle the distribution of the checks

  • Considers cost to the company when assessing the needs of manual checks.
  • Maintain security of manual checks and audit check stock.
  • Handle payroll inquiries from outside agencies, field locations and National Support Center and assist everyone with a resolution.
  • Communicate in a professional manner using judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and interact with others.
  • Must be present during working hours at the office for in person meetings and access to a computer without violating company policy.
  • Verify receipt of time and accuracy of entries entered, separates hours into sub categories and ensures hours are distributed to the appropriate departments/locations.
  • Enter time into the system database balancing all batches and making any adjustments or corrections as necessary.
  • Consistently meet deadlines for the accomplishment of assigned tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are to be maintained.
  • Adherence to a code of conduct conducive with BayMark policy is expected.
  • Meet or exceed delivery of Company Service Standards in a consistent fashion.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least two years’ experience in the payroll process.
  • Computer experience required.
  • Organized work habits and proven attention to detail.
  • Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
