Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Rogers, MN building is in safe working order and that the equipment on the line is maintained and repaired in a safe and efficient manner. The Manager plans, directs, organizes, and proactively evaluates situations to ensure minimal interruption and downtown. They are responsible for working closely with management across the entire organization to ensure production levels are met, and workspaces are maintained. The manager is responsible for planning and managing the maintenance budget, hiring and overseeing training, and supervision of staff. The Maintenance Manager must be a strong communicator, who is detailed orientated with a strong safety focus and understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate, implement, and manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.

• Establish and maintain computerized preventative maintenance program for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.

• Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations or solving maintenance-related problems.

• Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.

• Ensure that all maintenance technicians are trained in the most updated version of the operating procedures.

• Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems. Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Track, analyze and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.

• Direct, maintain, and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department; review safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.

• Maintain third party vendor contractors for internal cleaning, external landscaping and snow removal requirements.

• Work closely with Health and Safety to ensure the building is maintained in a safe manner including proper signage, walkways, etc.

• Manage employee relations including, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

• Supervise plant maintenance personnel. Ensure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or associate’s degree in maintenance, mechatronics, or technical related field with at least five (5) years of related experience and at least three (3) years of supervisor experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

o Knowledgeable in maintenance best practices, a structured maintenance management program, and utilizing a CMMS to efficiently maintain the facility and equipment.

o Strong technical skills with mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems and equipment.

o Knowledgeable in building systems and facility maintenance best practices.

o Excellent time-management skills.

o Excellent technical expertise.

o Must have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally.

o Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

o Must complete record check and drug screening prior to employment.

o This position is classified as Safety Sensitive.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $105,000 Annually
