Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lean Six Sigma Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving process improvements and operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, project management, and strategic planning. You will work closely with various departments to identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and enhance overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Execute high impact Lean Six Sigma projects, as well as lead individuals and cross-functional teams using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. Lead and facilitate Lean Six Sigma projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Drive results through persuasiveness and influencing skills; organize self and others with timely follow through and execution
• Training, coaching, facilitation, and project management skills
• Build highly effective relationships, develop people, and create high-performing teams
• Utilize data analysis tools and software to assess current processes and measure performance metrics.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff on Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
• Maintain customer relationship management systems to track project progress and outcomes.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends that can inform strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Engineering experience, 3+ years in Quality, previous Black Belt experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in project management with a strong understanding of Lean methodologies.
• Proficiency in software tools related to process improvement and data analysis.
• Strong skills in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
• Excellent strategic planning abilities with a focus on measurable outcomes.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
