As a Junior Auditor, you'll play a key role in conducting audits, reviews, and compilations while collaborating closely with a supportive and experienced team. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audits and assurance engagements from start to finish, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Assist in preparing planning documents and performing risk assessments for your clients.
- Conduct internal control testing and assess key risk areas.
- Gather and review audit evidence, ensuring thorough documentation of audit conclusions.
- Identify issues during audits and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare financial statements, including footnotes and supplementary information.
- Clearly communicate tasks to team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including CPE, training sessions, and internal learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the US.
- A current CPA license is preferred, but not required.
- At least 2 years of experience in auditing at an accounting firm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (Pivot Tables required), Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends during busy tax season (January to April).

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (with occasional weekend hours during busy season)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
Experience:
- At least 2 years of auditing experience (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPA (Preferred)
Location:
Bronx, New York (In-office work required, with occasional remote work options)
