We are seeking a Information Assurance/Security Specialist to support our customer at Eglin AFB in Florida. This vital position will be onsite supporting our client in a cybersecurity test and evaluation environment. It wil l require an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Information Assurance/Security Specialist Primary Duties:

• Responsible for developing and managing Information Systems cyber security, including disaster recovery, database protection and software development.
• Manages security personnel to ensure that all applications are functional and secure.
• Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
• Implements procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards.
• Evaluates the organization to ensure compliance with standards and relevance with industry security norms.
• Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
• Understands DoD security policies and their application.
• Manages subordinate security staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that security milestones/goals are met.

Qualifications:

Information Assurance/Security Specialist Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree within related field or its equivalent in related work experience
• 4 or more years of related experience.
• 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience is required.

Essential Requirements:

• US Citizenship is required
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
