Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Infant and Toddler Assistant Teacher - EHS DIVISION: Education CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt STATUS: Full- Time

PURPOSE :

The Infant and Toddler Assistant Teacher is responsible for providing educational services to children 6 weeks to 3 years of age. This includes providing an inclusive and developmentally friendly environment for all children in the classroom.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :

• Create a warm and friendly environment for all children’s needs.
• Assist with creating and implementing curriculum.
• Actively participate in parent engagement opportunities.
• Serve as a positive influence through behaviors, attitudes, and actions.
• Maintain great communication and professional relationships with students, family members and co-workers.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be at least 21 years of age
2. Must have a CDA, an equivalent of a CDA (12 credit hours in ECE), or be able to obtain a CDA within two years of employment (Required)
3. Driver’s license (Required)
4. Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate!
