Job Description

Hotel Spa Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall management and operation of the spa, ensuring smooth daily functions, exceptional guest experiences, and achieving revenue targets.
The Spa Manager's key responsibilities include managing the hotel’s spa and wellness offerings including improvement and rejuvenation of programs and treatments in massage and beauty and other health and wellness services. Managers are responsible for hiring and training staff, managing budgets, addressing client concerns, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Oversees all aspects of the spa’s day-to-day spa operations, including scheduling appointments, managing staff rotations, and maintaining facility cleanliness.
  • Ensuring exceptional guest service and consummate professionalism
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and promote spa services.
  • Ensuring the spa remains a profit center for the hotel, offering overall wellness programs, and beauty pampering.
  • Providing a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for clients
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain high service standards.
  • Develop and manage the spa budget, tracking revenue and expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and implement strategies to increase sales.
  • Addressing client concerns and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide both in-house and walk-in clients with a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
  • Managing spa facilities such as the sauna, steam room, or jacuzzi.
  • Develop and promote spa packages and activities to guests.
  • Managing the schedule and billing for spa services.
  • Monitor and control spa inventory levels, including treatment products and supplies.
Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in spa management, including staff supervision 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue goals 
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills 
  • Proficiency in spa management software and Microsoft Office Suite 
Possesses excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

  • Effective Time Management – Organizing time effectively for greater productivity.
