TITLE: Fundraising Manager
LOCATION: Miles City, Montana

What you’ll be doing:
•The Foundation Director is responsible for planning, development and implementation of The Medical Center's Foundation activities.
Leads efforts to raise philanthropic resources to further the mission and vision of the medical center.
This position acts as a liaison between the Foundation Board and the medical center's Administration to facilitate the successful implementation of fundraising efforts.
•Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains staff in the department. Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
•Develop and implement a comprehensive resource development plan, including annual fund, planned giving, major gifts, capital campaigns and special projects, corporate and foundation solicitations, and events related to resource development.
•Represent the facility as required in a fundraising capacity at special community functions.
•Serve as the principal person responsible for the one-on-one solicitation of major gifts.
•Develop and administer fundraising policies and procedures, as well as annual reviews.
•Develop and monitor annual department goals.
•Responsible for department financial management to include the development of the annual budget, investment policy, and development of monthly financial reports.
•Develop and maintain a positive and harmonious working relationship with hospital staff, Foundation Board, Hospital Board, medical staff, senior leadership, and community.
•Serve as a public advocate for the facility, discussing significant public foundation developments with hospital staff, Foundation Board, and community groups.
•Provide ongoing education and overall guidance to the Foundation Board and its committees.
•Responsible for overall strategy for all foundation internal and external events.
•Play a key role in providing overall concept and messaging for the Foundation's marketing collateral and content for all communication channels.
•Oversee organization of all fundraising projects and donor recognition programs such as the constituent relationship management process and proper stewardship of gifts.
•Capitalize on grant funding opportunities on an ongoing basis.
•Maintain current knowledge of best practices in fundraising and development.
Requirements
What they’re looking for:
•Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication or other related field required.
•At least three years of fundraising experience and nonprofit sector experience.
•Professional Foundation/Development credentialing preferred.
Benefits
Hours and compensation potential:
•Position is full time.
•The range is between $61K-$89K plus full benefits and relocation/sign on bonus.
