About Gusto
Gusto is a modern, online people platform that helps small businesses take care of their teams. On top of full-service payroll, Gusto offers health insurance, 401(k)s, expert HR, and team management tools. Today, Gusto offices in Denver, San Francisco, and New York serve more than 300,000 businesses nationwide. Our mission is to create a world where work empowers a better life, and it starts right here at Gusto. That’s why we’re committed to building a collaborative and inclusive workplace, both physically and virtually. Learn more about our Total Rewards philosophy. About The Role As a Finance Intern, you'll dive deep into data to surface actionable insights that will guide key decisions across the company. Opportunities include work on enhancing reporting systems, identifying cost-saving opportunities through the review of existing agreements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance, among others. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic finance and operations, develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, and directly contribute to Gusto’s growth and mission. Our Finance internship is a 12-week hybrid summer program focused on making a significant impact on our customers by being embedded directly into our Finance, BizOps & Strategy (FBOS) team. Each intern has a dedicated intern mentor, and team manager who supports them as they contribute immediately to the team's roadmap will directly help Gusto’s mission. About The Team In this role, you'll join Gusto's FBOS team, supporting business partner organizations (for example, Customer Experience, EPD, Corp Dev) as we scale to serve even more customers. The FBOS team provides financial, operational, and strategic support at the corporate, departmental, and product level. The team’s mission is to define and defend the business model while accelerating Gusto’s growth. Our team plays a key role in supporting Gusto's overall mission, including our commitment to RISE.
