Bay Horizon Farms, LLC is currently seeking a full-time, year-round employee for the operation. The farm is located in Bay Port, MI and specializes in crop and alfalfa hay production as well as custom straw baling.
Job responsibilities include:
-Tractor and farm equipment operation
-Semi truck operation
-Maintenance and repair of farm equipment
Requirements:
-Valid driver's license
-Must be able to safely operate a semi-truck and trailer. A CDL is not required.
-Availability to work when needed on Saturdays during the summer and harvest seasons
(Sundays are guaranteed off year-round)
-Prior farm/mechanic experience desired
Hourly pay will reflect the amount of experience the employee brings to the operation ($18-$22/hr. starting wage). Company paid health insurance provided after 90 days.
