West500 Partners is working with a growing Bothell (WA) client who is looking for an ETL developer to join their team on a 6-9 month project. Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the ETL Developer will be to develop new and maintain import/export solutions, reporting, automation tools, and data update services using a range of Microsoft technologies. These technologies include but are not limited Microsoft SQL Server for database management, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft Reporting Services, and automation tools such as WinAutomate/PowerAutomate. A successful candidate will be involved in crucial software development lifecycle steps, from conceptualization and design to implementation and maintenance, ensuring the seamless functioning of database solutions and automated processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Developing automated solutions that simplify internal business processes
· Create, maintain and/or migrate sql based reporting
· Create, maintain and/or migrate sql stored procedures
· Create, maintain and/or migrate automated solutions
· Create, maintain and/or migrate processes that update/insert/delete data
· Conduct unit testing after completing development tasks, initiate end-to-end testing and validation in a development environment
· Adhere to pre-defined development standards for naming conventions, best practices and other aspects
· Complete assigned tasks accurately and within the given time frame
· Assist in designing solutions for enhancements
· Provide estimates for all project tasks
· Work with the Director of Information Systems to determine the best design solution for achieving the solution
· Perform code reviews
· Be a team player
Technical Skills and Prior Experience
· 3+ years of ETL development experience
Education and Credentials
· Bachelor’s degree or certification in computer science or ETL services preferred
