Job Title: ETL Developer (SSIS)/API Integration Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 6-month contract

Job Responsibilities

1. Design, develop and implement ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to meet business and data processing needs.
2. Integrate and process data from various sources like database tables, APIs, CSV, EXCEL, TXT, XML, JSON files etc.
3. Develop, optimize, and maintain TSQL, stored procedures, views and functions to support ETL operations and datasets for Power BI reports
4. Create custom ETL component and scripts using C# and Python for advanced data processing tasks
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
6. Design, implement and maintain data model, database schema, tables, views, indexes etc.
7. Document data workflows, mapping, and technical specifications
8. Implement data validations and cleansing routines to ensure high data quality
9. Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize data integration / SQL Agent jobs

Skills and Required Experience

1. 7+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services with solid experience using script task, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience with API integrations
3. Proven experience in API development and integration using coding language like C#, Python, Java and parsing & handling XML and JSON data
4. Experience with API testing tools like Postman
5. Strong analytical, data management and troubleshooting skills
6. Strong business intelligence and data warehouse experience.
7. Nice to have Power BI Development and SQL Server Reporting Service development experience
8. Detail oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality
9. Data integration or custom workflow experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint is preferred
