Job Description:

• Loading election vaults with specific supplies, following provided lists.
• Verifying accuracy of a variety of items sent to polling locations.
• Assisting with loading and testing voting machines for the election.
• Preparing voting machines for delivery to polling locations.
• Staging delivery of voting equipment.
• Provide technical support to voting locations during Early Voting and Election Day.
• Inventory a large amount of supplies.
• Additional duties as they arise.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work long hours for several days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 Years of Age.
• Non-Felon.
• All necessary background checks completed before starting position.

Time Requirements:

• Typical work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Schedule will require some evening, early morning and weekend work during high activity periods; with some days requiring 12 or more hours on the job.
• Period of employment will vary depending on need.

Abilities, Knowledge And Skills Requirements:

• Organizational skills a must.
• Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment use.
• Ability to follow procedures and directives given both orally and written.
• Ability to take direction from permanent staff, and lead workers.
• Ability to do routine, tedious and repetitive tasks over long periods while maintaining concentration.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within allotted time periods.
• Ability to learn several different tasks and assignments over a short period of time.
• Ability to quickly develop skills in sorting, packaging and counting numerous items for distribution to polling places with accuracy.
