We are seeking two highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and experienced program coordinators to join our dynamic admin team.
This position involves multifaceted responsibilities, requiring organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent writing and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, collaboration, the ability to work independently within a team, and efficient management of diverse tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the academic department.
This position will be supporting over 30 faculty, LTAs, staff, GAs, and over 100 graduate students.
The Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies offers nationally recognized undergraduate, master's, educational specialist, and doctoral-level degrees. Duties & Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate smooth communication within departments, university colleges, and external parties.
- Collaborate and act as a liaison to the Disability Resource Center for accommodations, interpreters, accessibility.
- Oversight of Other Professional Services, Room and Course scheduling requests, time approval (including course changes and updates).
- Training and ongoing mentoring of fellow Program Coordinators and student workers.
- Provide backup for fellow Program Coordinators as needed.
- Perform work to maintain ListServ and key issuance.
- Coordinate and collaborate on special projects with the Grants Management Team to support faculty in routine grant funded transactions.
- Complete department financial transaction processing (e.g., travel arrangements, professional memberships, reimbursements, P Card reconciliations, operational advances, purchasing, etc.).
- Perform a variety of specialized administration responsibilities to support programs in various areas including Deaf Studies, Counseling, School Psychology and Special Education.
- Assist program area faculty leaders with administrative issues.
- Provide administrative support for community related outreach programs and enrollment.
- Comprehensive support for undergraduate and graduate students, including liaison with Grad College, SLATE, RCW-GCF Awards, GradPath, and Grad App processes.
- Assist with student orientation.
- Coordinate interviews and events.
- Manage student enrollments, course maintenance, and funding placeholders.
- Create and manage Qualtrics Surveys and Reports.
- Support for program accreditations and maintenance of Practicum/Internship records.
- Purchase instructional materials (e.g., test kits, scoring software, manuals).
- All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
- 1 year of relevant work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications - Proficient experience with UArizona policies and procedures
- Experience with University of Arizona systems such as: UAccess Student, UAaccess Employee, UAccess Analytics, and UAccess Financials
- Demonstrated experience in effectively working across department
