Responsibilities:

• As a Cyber Threat Intelligence (Fusion) Analyst, you will:
• Identify potential cyber threats, determine risk levels, and produce analytical reports for diverse audiences. You will present findings to senior executives, translating technical indicators into layperson’s terms effectively.
• Utilize outstanding problem-solving skills to address serious threats in collaboration with other security team members.
• Obtain Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) through forensic analysis, Open-Source Intel (OSINT) reviews, and tracking previously reported IOCs. Recommend adjustments to countermeasures for heightened threat defense.
• Discover adversary campaigns and anomalies in logs and data, investigate potential system compromises, and create written analytic summaries and attack life cycle visualizations.
• Collaborate with other Cyber Network Defense Service Providers (CNDSPs), Intelligence Community (IC) agencies, and various departments to share emerging Cyber Threat Intelligence data and enhance vulnerability mitigation methodologies.
• Analyze and document the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of malicious cyber actors and provide recommendations to improve the operational environment's resilience.
• Conduct risk assessments based on analyses of technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities, making recommendations for analysis prioritization based on immediate threats identified.
• Collect and trend analysis metrics to identify key trends and provide situational awareness effectively.
• Exhibit good written communication skills to document and report newly identified IOCs accurately.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

More:

- Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience will be considered.
- DoD Approved Baseline 8570/8140 IAT level II (Sec+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, CND) certification is required before your start date.
- DoD Approved Baseline 8570 CSSP Analyst (CEH, CySA+, Certified First Responder-CFR) certification is necessary before you begin.
- GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or equivalent certification must be obtained within the first 120 days of employment.
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph.

You will need a solid understanding of standard network infrastructure, knowledge of masquerading, certificates, and file hashing. Familiarity with monitoring emerging threats and their relation to the MITRE ATT&CK framework is essential.

This position is located on-site at our customer locations in Reston, VA, and Bolling AFB (DC). The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 to $195,500, but actual compensation will be set based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
